Join Leah Rosenberg and SpaceBi for a pop up dim sum potluck on Christmas! The menu will be an experimental Jewese fusion including latke’s paired with Oy-sin sauce, matzo sticky rice balls, challah wrapped roast duck, kosher-salt tea eggs, and a big bowl of kreplach and dumplings all mixed up. We will combine all the recipes and produce the Jews for Dim Sum cookbook. We are seeking contributions for our homemade fortune cookies with wise phrases from elders culled from our facebook friends.
All are invited, bring a treat to share but bare in mind that it is not officially sponsored by the Asian Art Museum in anyway, and that we are all using their front stairs as a space for a pop-up Dim Sum brunch.
UPDATE: Thanks to the 40+ who came out to celebrate the first annual Jews for Dim Sum, a celebration of a cultural friendship that has stood the test of time! Feel free to share your memories below!
